VOGTLAND 40MM SPRINGS & SHOCKS SUSPENSION KIT

"HI, I've been looking at shocks and springs for my mk4 1.8t for hours now and think I have whittled it down to 3 options. Could do with some help with the final push... The Vogtland kit has caught my eye mainly on a price point and from what I can tell they have great reviews + loads of happy customers. Previously to that I had my heart set on a B12 Pro kit, but this is more than double the price (and 10mm less drop) As a midway point the H&R cup kit is a bit cheaper and can go lower (and also Billstein made shocks I believe) so could also be a good option. Only the Vogtland are affordable for me at the mo, but do you think I would be better to wait and save for the more expensive kits? how much more bang do you get for your buck? Or dare I ask what else you would recommend? Cheers Danny"

Top end springs and shocks suspension kits like the Bilstein B12 and H&R Cup kits use mono tube dampers which are pretty much the best kind of dampers on the market and provide the ultimate in handling and that's why they're the most expensive. These are also matched with high end springs from H&R and Eibach which again add to the price. Saying that the likes of the entry level and lower mid range kits from Vogtland and AP are still very good quality options and designed for everyday road use so perfect for a lot of drivers who want a good combination of handling and ride comfort without breaking the bank. Match this the 2 years manufacturer warranty and they become an even more tempting choice. All the kits we sell have been selected by us because they're the best option available in various price ranges. I'd say go for the best suspension kit your budget allows and what you're comfortable with spending along with which suspension kit is going to give you the drop that you want. Do this and I'm confident you'll be happy with your choice."
